I was here recently to run a small local half marathon. It was very easy to find as it was just south of the 101 freeway. The start and finish line was at the northern end of the park. Most of the race was on the nearby bike path that ran along the Arroyo Las Posas. There were plentiful parking all along the western, northern, and eastern perimeter of the park. The fields looked to be very well maintained as was the restroom.

It's always nice to get outside and enjoy our local parks. My family can easily walk to and from this park/fields. We enjoy catching a baseball game or adult kick ball or just a quiet stroll across the parking lot and loop on the trail.
This park is a great place for singles and couples to enjoy a walk or catch a game from the sidelines. There are often kids sports teams here so we avoid the fields themselves.
Contrary to what some believe, this is not a dog park and animals must be leashed.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 15, 2017
We came to the Pleasant Valley Fields for the Camarillo Strawberry Cup over Mother's Day. The tournament was well run, and the soccer fields were great. These fields are very well kept, well marked and have very good goals - super nets!
The bathrooms were well kept and as good as you are going to find for a public field. This was a large tournament and consequently had a lot of foot traffic, yet the bathrooms ALWAYS had plenty of hand towels and soap.
The fields are sprawling so it helps if you know exactly where your field is, otherwise you may have a walk from your car to the field, but not a terrible walk. I was super impressed with the overall fields and conditions.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Jan 28, 2012
It just across the street from where I live. Lovely park to walk a dog and get them their exercise. Unfortunately, since there's usually a lot of sporting activities going on, the park doesn't allow dogs off leash. I'm only giving them an "A-OK" because it's a Sports Park yet they don't have basketball courts. It really is just fields (baseball, softball, soccer, and football) and no courts.

Huge park with tons of soccer fields and baseball fields. The grass is level and in great shape. Great night time lightning. Parking is a challenge on Saturdays. Go at a crawl speed over the speed bumps, they are brutal but good to keep everyone slow in this kids park.

What a beautiful place to spend the last days of summer. Camarillo Cup Soccer games this weekend with teams form all over Los Angeles region playing so expected to have trouble parking - but had to come to see a young star shine !!! Parking was indeed very difficult but we found it.
The fields were great with golf course looking grass. There are like 25 or more soccer fields and great snack place to get burgers etc.
Also wanted to see friends and families traveling to see the games on the Labor Day weekend - another circumstance that's cementing this park on our hearts.
Great place to spend the day !!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelly D.Los Angeles, CA062780May 13, 2017
Best maintained fields of any ayso tournament. Who knows who pays for this. Maybe better not to know.

HUGE park, not very much parking. Very frustrating during AYSO Fall season.
Great burgers at the snack bar!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian S.Camarillo, CA16523474Jan 29, 2010First to Review
This park just opened today with a grand opening. Pleasant Valley Fields is huge. It took me about 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. With no big trees yet it looks kind of bare, but the sod was laid and took quite nicely. The lights work great and cover most of the park. The park has room for 11 full-sized soccer fields. For AYSO they'll divide it up into smaller fields. There are also three softball diamonds, a classroom, offices and two snack bars. A nice playground is on the softball field end for the kiddies. With only 500 parking spaces, I think that it will be a tight squeeze on Saturdays for AYSO, but the rest of the time it should be enough parking.
