The quality programs we offer to the community may include a wide variety of employment opportunities in each Department.

Departments 

In our Recreation Services Department there may be a variety of opportunities in each Division:

• Aquatics Division: Lifeguard, teach swim lessons, host birthday parties, assist with special events and teach classes as water safety instructors.
• Community Programs Division: Teach a variety of youth and adult classes, assist with special events, adaptive programs, monitor the Pleasant Valley Skatepark and opportunities to work seasonally as a youth camp counselor.
• Senior Division: Teach a variety of classes and assist with office work, dances, movies and special events.
• Sports Division: Keep score at basketball games, run open play programs such as volleyball and basketball, monitor softball games and youth sports practices.    

In our Park Services Department:

There may be a need for Park Rangers and park/facility maintenance staff who provide the upkeep for our numerous parks and facilities. There are also mechanics who maintain District vehicles and equipment. 

In our Administrative Services Department:

There may be opportunities to work as a Customer Service Representative by assisting the community with reserving parks and facilities, assist with registering for classes and assist with special events.
