Camarillo Council On Aging
The City Council, in 1978, formed an advisory board, the Camarillo Council on Aging (CCOA), for the purpose of providing senior residents in the city of Camarillo a mechanism to make formal recommendations on matters of concern to the City Council and the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging. The CCOA is run by a five member Executive Board.
The CCOA publishes a “Senior Resource Guide” that can be found on-line or at the Senior Center. Along with the Pleasant Valley Senior Center they host an annual 50 Plus Expo at the Community Center in May, where over seventy-four vendors provide information and services.
