Camarillo Springs Golf Camp

Classes will teach the fundamentals of golf, including: Full swing, Chipping, Putting, Rules, and etiquette, all done in a fun and creative learning environment. All golf lessons and camps are taught by Jacob Lusk or Dave Sepulveda, and are held at Camarillo Springs Golf Course.

Camarillo Basketball Camp

Coach Prewitt and his assistant coaches emphasize teamwork and cooperation while working on the basic skills of the game.  Girls and boys are encouraged to take advantage of this outstanding program.  Among the skills taught will be ball handling, shooting, and defensive skills.  These will be taught and practiced through drills, small group sessions, and game situations. (This class is only offered during the summer.)
 

Challenger's British Soccer Camp

Challenger’s British Soccer Camp is the most popular camp in the USA! Over the past 20 years Challenger's vast army of British coaches have helped hundreds of thousands of boys and girls aged 3 – 18 learn, improve, master and fall in love with the sport of soccer. The British Soccer Camp program will contain Challenger’s own brand of innovative practices, technical exercises, coached games, camp world cup, cultural education, character building and FUN! 

Freedom Park BMX Camp

For any BMX rider, whether beginner or experienced, this camp offers instruction for skill improvement.  Girls and boys, ages 4-15, are welcome to come and enjoy riding like never before.  The energetic staff is experienced in professional riding and training, and will provide a fun, creative learning environment. (This class is only offered during the summer.)

Kidz Love Soccer Classes

Since 1979, Kidz Love Soccer has been dedicated to teaching children the world’s most popular sport within a nurturing, recreational environment. Young soccer enthusiasts experience soccer in a safe, non-competitive environment. Kidz Love Soccer: “Where the score is always FUN to FUN!”

Monka Soccer Academy & Half Day Camp

The camps and academy are designed to develop young, aspiring soccer players in the areas of technique (skills), tactics (decision making), physical fitness, and sports psychology.  Bryan Monka will run the camps and the academy. Bryan is a former professional soccer player, and his goal is to teach skill, creativity, and decision making in a fun, competitive environment where winning is encouraged, but is not the sole focus.

Optimum Basketball Classes

Steven Plantenberg has worked with players of all levels, from beginners to collegiate level to improve their efficiency on the court.

Pickleball Classes

Pickleball lessons are taught by Trish Zakas to beginner and intermediate players. Lessons are taught at Bob Kildee Park or at Freedom Gym.

Super Soccer Stars Classes

At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

Tennis Classes

 

The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District offers tennis lessons to the community ranging from age 5 to seniors.

The tennis lessons are taught by instructors hired by the District.

Tennis lessons teach a variety of skills that are age-appropriate and challenge that certain age group. Classes are held during the day, evenings and weekends.

Be sure to bring a new can of tennis balls to the first day of class and wear appropriate clothing along with a hat and sunscreen, which may be necessary depending on weather conditions.  It is also recommended you wear a court type of shoe so that you may safely perform lateral movements. Please bring a bottle of water.

Register early, as many classes maintain a small student to teacher ratio and fill quickly.

Try Surf

Try Surf, led by Art Pascual will teach the basics of surfing and also ocean awareness and safety. Kids must be completely comfortable in the ocean. Must be able to swim unassisted in whitewash and swim well overall.
