The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District offers tennis lessons to the community ranging from age 5 to seniors.

The tennis lessons are taught by instructors hired by the District.

The lessons are taught at our tennis courts located at:

Bob Kildee Community Park 1030 Temple Avenue
Mission Oaks Park 5501 Mission Oaks Boulevard
Pitts Ranch Park 1400 Flynn Road
Springville Park 801 Via Zamora
Valle Lindo Park 889 Aileen Street

Tennis lessons teach a variety of skills that are age appropriate and challenge that certain age group. Classes are held during the day, evenings and weekends.

Be sure to bring a new can of tennis balls to the first day of class and wear appropriate clothing along with a hat and sunscreen, which may be necessary depending on weather conditions.  It is also recommended that you wear a court type of shoe so that you may safely perform lateral movements. Please bring a plastic bottle of water.

Register early, as many classes are a small student to teacher ratio and fill quickly.
