After nearly one year of closing Arneill Ranch Park for renovation, Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District is excited to announce, Arneill Ranch Park is reopening!

We invite you to attend the Grand Re-Opening of Arneill Ranch Park at 1301 Sweetwater Ave. in Camarillo on Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 9 am – 11 am. Please join our ribbon-cutting ceremony and enjoy refreshments as you tour the park improvements.

Park improvements include:

·         Improvement of underground electrical wiring

·         Installation of a new irrigation system

·         Removal of turf on the outside of the walking track to make way for the installation of drought-tolerant plants and mulch beds

·         Turf maintenance of the central grassy area with hydroseeding

·         Regrading of the walking track with additional decomposed granite

·         Installation of meandering paths around the edge of the park

·         New entrance pathways

·         New playground designed to accommodate special needs children with rubber ground surfacing for enhanced safety, and to allow easy access for wheelchairs

·         Relocated fitness zone and stations around the track

·         ADA exercise equipment donated by Camarillo Amber’s Light Lions Club
