Imagine living outdoors surrounded by hundreds of plants to be gathered for food and medicines all year long. Foods were not only nutritious, but some had healing properties as well. Many plants have compounds considered to be preventative to disease when consumed for nutrition. The number of products in drug stores that make us feel better to have alternatives in wild plants. Compare these plants to those we will see at Camarillo Grove Park on August 12th!
