At this time of year, birds from up north have come down south to winter here in Southern California. The oak woodlands of Camarillo Grove Park are great to see both wintering and year round warblers, sparrows, and many other species. We may even see some birds of prey as well. This walk is recommended for those with some birding experience. This is a great time of year for birds songs so get ready to be quizzed on them when we hear them. A good pair of binoculars is highly recommended.  Meet at the Nature Center. The hike starts at 9:00, dress in layers and good walking/hiking shoes. Bring water and sun protection.
