Mike Mishler

Mike Mishler, his wife Donna, and their two children moved to Camarillo in 1984. Mike has served on the PVRPD Board of Directors since being elected in 2012. He also represents PVRPD on the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy since February 2013. In 2018 Mike was voted by the special districts of Ventura County to represent them on the new Ventura County Consolidated Oversight Board. Mike was President of the Ventura County Special Districts Association during 2017-2018.

Before Mike was elected to serve on the PVRPD board, he created the first regional AYSO (Region 68, Camarillo) Spring Season program in Ventura County. Mike served as the AYSO Region 68 Regional Commissioner from 1997 to 1999. He received the AYSO Region 68 Dave Winters award in 2009. Mike coached soccer at Camarillo High School for two years. In 2010, he started up the AYSO Adult Coed Recreational League in Camarillo. Mike received the PVRPD Volunteer of the Year award in 2010 and 2011.

Mike has a Master of Science degree in Geology from San Diego State University. He spent his career as a geologist in the private sector and is currently retired. 

First elected in November 2012 and re-elected in November 2016, he is up for re-election in November 2020.
