COVID-19 Response
View the current list of District facilities and activities that are closed, open or limited in response to COVID-19:
Current PVRPD Facility Closures
October, 1, 2020: Playground equipment is open for public use, according to posted signage
August 21, 2020: Sports Fields open limited to permitted Youth Sports (must meet County/State requirements)
July 31, 2020: Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center closed due to County Order.
July 14, 2020: Administrative Office is closed for walk-ins, but available by phone or email
June 29, 2020: Administrative Office and Aquatic Center open to the public.
June 15, 2020: Aquatic Center to reopen June 29, Summer Camp accepting registration soon, Picnic Pavillions open for use by household units, Fitness Classes being planned.
June 10, 2020: The BMX Raceway at Freedom Park is reopened.
June 1, 2020: Skate Park and all outdoor basketball courts are reopened.
April 28, 2020: Restrooms reopened at Camarillo Grove Park, Pitts Ranch Park & Valle Lindo Park
April 21, 2020: District Tennis & Pickleball courts are reopened.
April 20, 2020: The Ventura County Health Officer has issued an updated Stay At Home Order allowing gatherings of up to 5 people.
April 16, 2020: Public restrooms are reopened at Bob Kildee Park, Community Center Park, Mel Vincet Park and Mission Oaks Park, with limitations.
April 14, 2020: Food Truck Festival is cancelled for 2020.
April 9, 2020: The Ventura County Health Officer has issued a Stay At Home Order prohibiting all gatherings (of 2 or more people) who are not from the same household. Please observe this protocol when visitng our parks.
April 11 & 12, 2020: Camarillo Grove Park will be Closed Saturday & Sunday in an abundance of caution for Easter weekend gatherings and will re-open on April 13.
