The dog park is open! Grand Opening was held on 10/2/23.
During the development of the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 budget process staff presented a list of capital improvement projects. Freedom Park was an option for a lighted dog park as it has existing amenities. The Board approved the Capital Projects Budget and allocated $200,000 for the Freedom Park Dog Park.

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District
