Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center : Lifeguard Tryouts

Join our team of dedicated and professional lifeguards! Skills assessment, swim test and interviews will be held on:

Saturday, March 6 from 3:30 - 5:30pm

Thursday, March 18 from 7:00 - 8:30pm

Saturday, March 20 from 3:30 - 5:30pm

Arrive on time and come prepared with photo identification, a copy of your current certifications, completed District Application and Lifeguard Supplement. Interviews will be held immediately after the completion of the water skills assessment and swim test.

Tryout Location: Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center at 1030 Temple Avenue, Camarillo

We offer flexible hours and great pay - $9.47 - $11.50 per hour.

Welcome to the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District’s Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center. We invite you and your family to enjoy our newly remodeled indoor facility which consists of eight 25 yard lanes, a one-meter diving board, a 65 foot spiral water slide, an outdoor splash zone, outdoor patio and party area and locker rooms with full amenities.

Our facility offers a wide variety of year round programs consisting of lap swimming, water aerobics, cardio sculpt, swimming lessons, diving lessons, water polo classes, parent and child classes, adult only swimming lessons, therapeutic swimming, lifeguard certification classes, special events and more.

The Aquatic Center is also available for rent. We offer a variety of all inclusive party packages, or an hourly rental rate for your special celebration, fundraiser or competition.
