In keeping with its ongoing efforts to serve all members of the public, the Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District is updating its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. The accessibility plan provides a comprehensive plan for accessibility for persons with disabilities to District facilities, programs, services, activities and events.
The District contracted with Disability Access Consultants to lead the District through and conduct the Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. WIth the completion of the Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, the next steps of the process will be two-fold; staff will begin working on addressing both the programmatic policy recommendations and the physical barriers identified in the transition plan through a prioritized implementation plan.
